Turbo-Phalt® is a low softening point gilsonite/resin blend that will readily tame unstable, reactive shale. Turbo-Phalt® will also help seal micro-fractures while reducing seepage loss and differential sticking tendencies in low-pressure sands.
SYN-Seal® is a single sack, chemically modified resin and cellulose fiber compound that contains no asphalt or asphalt derivatives. SYN-Seal® is effective at both low and high temperatures and has a broad application in oil and synthetic-based mud systems.
Bore-Seal 100 is a wellbore stabilizer/lost circulation material (LCM) that creates a fast effective seal to minimize fluid and pressure invasion into the formation. Bore-Seal 100 effectively seals a wide range of fracture sizes and creates a barrier that allows for overbalanced drilling to continue. Bore-Seal 100 is particularly useful as a “background” LCM to ensure low fluid invasion across many reservoir types.
Premium Seal® is superior to other products on the market because its optimum particle size distribution allows the sealing of micro‐fractures, sands and depleted formations. Unlike generic “cellulose fibers” on the market that are pulverized and reduced to an unoriginal form, Premium Seal® is composed of specially sized, custom cotton linters.
Turbo-Phalt® is a unique shale stabilizing gilsonite/resin blend. Its highly effective HTHP water loss reduction results in a tough lubricating wall cake and reduces differential sticking tendencies in low‐pressure sands, especially in water-based environments.
Turbo-WBS can be added as a background treatment for the active system effectively replacing common pricey sulfonated asphalts.
Turbo-Chem can increase the integrity of the wellbore by what we call a “snowshoe” effect in synthetic and oil base muds. The fibers and resin in the SYN-Seal® and Bore-Seal 100 will form an integrated thin wall cake, which will spread the pressure load across a broader area, thereby increasing the wellbore integrity. The pressure load is simply broadened across a wider area creating increased support, effectively increasing the integrity in that area to a higher stress level. This is what the SYN-Seal® is creating through an integrated filter cake, spreading the load across the fracture(s) effectively increasing the wellbore integrity, in some cases by several points. Producing formations are also protected from not only invasive fluids but solids invasion too, which is also a major concern, especially in the lower pressured, partially depleted sands.
