Product Summary

Turbo-Lube WO TDS is a concentrated extreme lubricant that is nontoxic and biodegradable. Turbo-Lube WO TDS is highly dispersible and will optimize key properties of the mud system due to its compatibility with other drilling additives. Turbo-Lube WO TDS excels in extended reach/highly deviated wells as well as coil tubing operations. Turbo-Lube WO TDS exhibits unmatched thermal stability with no adverse effects on the system and will tolerate high solids situations without increasing the rheology.

Physical Properties

  • Solubility (oil): Soluble
  • Solubility (water): Dispersible
  • Specific Gravity (g/mL.): 0.90
  • Appearance: Dark Liquid
  • pH in 1% solution: 8-9

Recommended Treatment

  • Torque and Drag: 1-3% by volume. Maintenance is achieved by adding .5-1 drum per 24-hour period or as needed to increase ROP.
  • Sliding Pills: 3-5% by volume can be added directly to the suction pit or sent downhole in pills to reduce torque and increase ROP.
  • Stuck Pipe: Can be spotted in its concentrated form across the zone where the drill pipe has become stuck. Sufficient soaking time should be allowed while tension and torque are applied to the drill string and worked up and down in an attempt to free the pipe.
