Turbo-GLA acts as a film-forming/barrier lubricant. Turbo-GLA is particularly effective for drilling applications such as deviated wells and those with directional concerns. The lubricating qualities impart friction reduction to enhance rotary and motor drilling as well as logging as casing runs.
System Treatment: 2-6 ppb to effectively lubricate the wellbore before logging or casing runs.
Pills: 10 ppb Turbo-GLA along with 10 ppb First Response® or 10 ppb B.F.S. can be applied as a pill or in a sweep fashion to reduce mud losses and seal low-pressure sands.
