Product Summary


Turbo-Break is a micro-emulsion system with high solvency and high flash point characteristics. This
environmentally friendly product removes oil wet solids from the wellbore during displacement and
can also be used for pipeline cleaning situations. Turbo-Break will encapsulate oil wet solids and
leave behind a water wet surface.

Recommended Treatment


  • Turbo-Break can be used as a concentrate in spacer fluids during displacement for removal of oil-based mud from the wellbore.
  • Turbo-Break can also be used, as a concentrate solution, for production pipeline cleaner.
  • Turbo-Break should be used at 5-25% in fresh water or brine, depending on the amount of oil wet solids present.

  • Micro-Emulsion chemistry will encapsulate oil-wet solids into stable micelles, which can be easily removed with water.

  • Renders Iron Sulfide particles less hazardous by encapsulating particles, minimizing their exposure to Oxygen.

  • Excellent water wetting characteristics.
