Shale Stability

Turbo Chem has practical industry knowledge of shale stability enforcement. We put this knowledge into effect for operators working in sensitive shale plays world-wide. The use of our patented products such as: Turbo­‐Phalt®, SYN­‐Seal, Turbo-WBS and Bore-Seal 100, will optimize operations and reduce non-productive time.

Depleted Sands

We dedicated endless hours of research and top‐of­‐the­‐line technology to creating products that specifically target depleted sands . Premium Seal is superior to other products on the market, because its optimum particle size distribution allows the sealing of micro­‐fractures, sands and depleted formations. Unlike generic “cellulose fibers” on the market that are pulverized and reduced to an unoriginal form, Premium Seal is composed of specially sized, custom cotton linters. Turbo-Phalt is a unique shale stabilizing gilsonite / resin blend. Its highly effective in HTHP water loss reduction results in a tough lubricating wall cake and reduces differential sticking tendencies in low­‐pressure sands especially in water base environments. Turbo-WBS can be added as a background treatment for the active system effectively replacing common pricey sulfonated asphalts.

Turbo-Chem can increase the integrity of the well bore, by what we call a “snowshoe” effect in synthetic and oil base muds. The fibers and resin in the SYN-Seal® and Bore-Seal 100 will form an integrated thin wall cake, which will spread the pressure load across a broader area, thereby increasing the well bore integrity. The pressure load is simply broadened across a wider area creating increased support, effectively increasing the integrity in that area to a higher stress level. This is what the SYN-Seal® is creating through an integrated filter cake, spreading the load across the fracture(s) effectively increasing the well bore integrity, in some cases by several points. Producing formations are also protected from not only invasive fluids, but solids invasion too, which also a major concern, especially in the lower pressured, partially depleted sands
